PE - Striking & Fielding

This term our P.E focus is striking and fielding. Today in our P.E session we focused on skills that would help us when we were fielding. Students had to rotation between stations as if they were fielding in a game.

Softball Canterbury

Check out our softball lessons with Softball Canterbury. We have been learning about how to correctly field using a glove. Our skills were put to the test today when we played stuck in the mud softball style!! 

 

Library Visit

We visited the library for the first time today to issue books and go over expectations. We have two classroom librarians for the term - Devon & Keira. 

 

SURFING 2021

Room 5 had a blast at our Sumner surfing trip with Room 6. 

Lots of surfing, boogie boarding and sandcastle building. 

It was a fun day out and a great way to get to know each other!
