Friday Good Vibes Term 1, Week 5.
Softball.
Today we have also been lucky enough to have a softball session with Softball Canterbury. We learnt how to throw the ball to each other using an overarm technique. We enjoyed being able to catch the ball with a glove, for some of us this was our first time.

Casebrook Challenge
Some of our Room 1 students have really been getting into our Casebrook Challenge programme. It has been great to see a variety of challenges completed . This week Abbey baked a cake for the class as one of her challenges - we can confirm it was delicious!
Name Art
This week we have produced some awesome name art. We focused on blending pastel colours to create a tone that makes our art stand out. We were also creative with the letters and lines in our names.

Adventure Days!
We have really enjoyed our year 7 adventure days. So far we have been lucky enough to go the the high ropes course at the Groynes and surfing at Sumner Beach. As a class we really enjoyed getting to know each other better and learning about ourselves and other people outside of the classroom. We had great weather which was a bonus. A huge thank you to all of our wonderful parent helpers. Enjoy looking at some of our photos.
